A black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out. The gravity is so strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space. This can happen when a star is dying. Because no light can get out, people can't see black holes.

The beginning, the first impact or the first thought.
The mixture of emotions that grow and spread throughout our being
are some of the points that we wanted to capture in this song.

Like something so beautiful, it can be something really terrifying.
Something that slowly draws us in until it's too late.

I first heard Pillars when I attended Post. Fest 2018 to hear Heron play (I have 2 talented nephews who are members of that band). I thought the guys in Pillars sounded tight and awesome. This album, CAVUM, just proves even more so that I was correct! My favorites on the album are Dissolution and Black Prayer, but plenty of excellent sounds here! Kenneth Blick
